Alison Schwedner is the Director of the Community Collaborative, a program of the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation. Comprised of 45 health, education and social service organizations, the Collaborative works together to measure impact, integrate services, advocate and build non-profit capacity to ultimately better support youth and families in the Tahoe Truckee region. She has been involved in the nonprofit sector in the Tahoe Truckee area for 20 years, working at both Tahoe SAFE Alliance and North Tahoe Family Resource Center before joining the Community Foundation in 2008. In addition to extensive non-profit experience, she worked with the Colorado Department of Corrections at a reintegration center. Alison has served on the Nevada County Mental Health Advisory Board, California Family Strengthening Networks Steering Committee, and California Family Resource Association Policy Committee. She and her husband live in Truckee with their 3 children.
