Meagan Mulligan is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Chapa De Indian Health, a private non-profit community health center that provides high quality compassionate care to American Indians and low-income individuals in the community.
Meagan has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Hawaii. Her prior work experience includes travel health, oncology, and work in the homeless shelter system of New York City. She also teaches Advanced Pediatric Physical Assessment at California State University at Sacramento.
A mother of two children under the age of five, Meagan grew up in Placer County and attended local schools. She brings both a medical and preventive health perspective to the Commission, and is passionate about health promotion, disease prevention, and early literacy.
Meagan Mulligan is appointed to seat #5 as a representative of a local medical, pediatric, or obstetric association or society.
