Boys & Girls Club of North Tahoe - Kinder Program: Provide consistent, affordable, and safe after school programming; Monday through Friday for students. Some programming may include additional support, after communicating with kindergarten teachers.
Child Advocates of Placer County - Family Mentor Program: Family Mentors meet regularly with families with children under age 6 who are in the process of reunification. Provides families with parenting and life-skills information, and linkages to support services.
Community Collaborative of Tahoe Truckee - Collaborative Networks & Systems: Builds collaborative linkages between services providers to address emerging issues of families with young children in the Tahoe region and to develop an integrated system of support.
Community Recovery Resources - Prenatal Substance Abuse Services Program: Provides a comprehensive continuum of care for substance abuse and related behavioral health issues. Also includes childcare and parenting classes for Placer County women who are pregnant or parenting children under age 6.
Family Resource Center of Truckee Tahoe - Community Legal Program: Free, legal assistance program one day a week at the North Tahoe Family Resource Center to Placer County families with children prenatal through five.
Insights Counseling Group - Therapy for Mothers Experiencing Maternal Depression: Provides therapy in Auburn and Roseville for women living in Placer County who are experiencing perinatal depression and mood disorders.
KidsFirst - Parents as Teachers: Home Visiting Program (PAT): KidsFirst provides no-cost comprehensive family support services in English and Spanish at our Counseling and Family Resource Centers in Roseville and Auburn. KidsFirst provides individual, Child & Family Therapy, information and refferals, onging comprehensive case managment, the Parents as Teachers (PAT) home visitation program for parents with children up to the age of 5, and Leadership and Enrichment Activities Program (LEAP) for kids grades k-12.
KidZone Sierra Nevada Children's Museum - Developmentally Appropriate Play: Provides an indoor play structure and hands-on art, cultural and science exhibits for infants and small children. Transportation and bilingual services are provided.

Lighthouse Counseling & Family Resource Center - Holistic Family Strengthening: Provides counseling, case management, parenting education, and basic support services to families with children ages 0-5 in Western Placer County areas. Services provided in English and Spanish.
North Tahoe Family Resource Center: Operates a family resource center that is accessible to parents in the North Tahoe basin region. Provides targeted intensive support services, opportunities for parents to interact and develop support networks.
Parenting Time - Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange: Providing “Safe Exchange” services for families in high conflict, with children ages 0-5, who need assistance due to separation and divorce. In addition, parents will receive education and other support necessary for successful co-parenting.
Placer County District Attorney's Office Multi-Disciplinary Interview Center (MDIC): Provides a "child-friendly" interview center, mental health advocacy, and linkages to support services for children who are suspected victims of felony child abuse and their families.
Placer County Office of Education (PCOE) – Early Childhood Development
Early Childhood Development Supports: Provides resources and referral services for childcare in Placer County; recruitment, training, mentoring and accreditation support for those working in the childcare field; kindergarten summer school readiness programs for children; and Incredible Years training for parents and providers. Also provides a toy, book, and material lending library to parents and child care providers.
