Support ¡Hágase Contar! Census 2020 Campaign

Updated: Jul 12, 2019

Today SCOTUS began to hear oral arguments regarding the addition of the

citizenship question to Census 2020.

This issue has significant importance for all families in Placer County and across our nation and Placer County. Why? Because Census data guides the allocation of more than $800 billion in federal funding to programs that are crucial to the well-being of families and communities such as Medicaid, Medicare, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance (SNAP), Head Start / Early Head Start, and more.

Help Support the ¡Hágase Contar! (Make Yourself Count!) Campaign on Social Media

NALEO Educational Fund, the organization that developed the ¡Hágase Contar! Census 2020 Campaign has prepared a digital comms toolkit with resources for community members and stakeholders to easily share messages across networks and social media. We hope you join us in sharing these messages today and through the week!
