Jenny Davidson currently fulfills seat number # 4 on the commission, serving as a representative for “Local Organization for Prevention or Early Intervention of Families at Risk”. She is the current Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Stand up Placer working with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and a Master's Degree in Business Administration, she has worked with at risk and high risk families since 1999.
Some of her previous experience include working with the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency in the Housing Choice Voucher program, working as an eligibility worker with the CalWorks/Cash Aid program with Shasta County Health and Human Services. Additionally, her work with the Child Abuse Coordinating Council of Shasta County and Family Services of Shasta County have provided her education and training regarding early childhood development as well as in depth experience working within the 40 Developmental Assets model. Her experience working in the domestic violence field has provided in depth knowledge regarding the risk factors of exposure to violence at an early age.
